Frequently asked questions
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, ask us — we reply within one business day.
Trial & pricing
Is there really a free trial with no card?
Yes. 15 days, no credit card upfront. If you do nothing, the trial ends and nothing is charged.
What happens when my trial ends?
The dashboard locks and asks you to pick a plan. Your data is kept — nothing is deleted the day the trial expires. If you need an export after expiry, contact us.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $49/mo ($490/yr), Growth is $99/mo ($990/yr) and Scale is $199/mo ($1,990/yr). Extra facilities are $20/mo each, extra users $9/mo each. Annual billing equals two months free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your billing page. Your data remains exportable through the end of the paid period.
Data & integrations
Does it replace my management software?
No. StorIQ sits on top of it — pulling or receiving the data your CRM already holds, and returning recommendations you approve. Nothing is ripped out.
Which CRMs can it pull from?
Twelve: Storeganise, SiteLink, storEDGE, Storable, Tenant Inc., Storman, Yardi Breeze, Storage Commander, Easy Storage Solutions, SpaceManager, Store-It, and Monument. Anything else can push through the API or a CSV upload.
What if my CRM isn't on the list?
Use the push API or a CSV upload — both feed the same recommendation engine. New pull adapters are added as vendor API references become available.
How often should I update my data?
Nightly is ideal: the sync endpoint is idempotent per facility and date, so re-sending a date updates instead of duplicating. Recommendations regenerate whenever your data updates.
Does StorIQ write rates back into my CRM?
No. StorIQ reads your data and returns recommendations. Rates are published by you, in your own systems.
Recommendations
How do the recommendations work?
Fourteen published rules — occupancy-pace bucket pricing, competitive price index, Lerner-markup checks with storage guardrails, promo-depth guidance, Good-Better-Best tier step-ups and more. Every recommendation cites the rule and inputs behind it.
What does "insufficient data" mean?
It means the evidence can't support a recommendation for that size — for example, no competitor rates to build an index from. We'd rather say so than guess. Add the missing input and the recommendation appears.
Can I see why a recommendation changed?
Yes. Every run is saved with its inputs, and the "what changed and why" log compares runs so you can see exactly what moved.
Are the recommendations guaranteed to raise revenue?
No — and you should distrust anyone who guarantees that. Recommendations are guidance grounded in published pricing research, not promises about your occupancy or revenue.
Security & your data
How is my data protected?
CRM credentials are AES-encrypted, API keys are hashed and revocable, all queries are parameterized, sessions are HTTP-only, and every company's data is strictly isolated. Connects, pulls, and key changes are audit-logged.
Who owns my data?
You do. Export facilities, rates, and recommendations anytime from your dashboard; we delete everything on request after cancellation.
Account
How do I add facilities or users?
From your dashboard. Plan caps apply (Starter: 1 facility / 3 users; Growth: 5 / 10; Scale: 15 / 25); overages are billed per extra facility or user.
Do you offer onboarding help?
Yes — message us from the contact page and we'll walk through your first data import, whether it's a CRM pull, an API push, or a CSV.
